MyTutor
MyTutor is a tailored remote learning service offering 3:1 and 1:1 online tuition to students across a range of age groups. MyTutor is the UK's most trusted tutoring platform by parents - rated 4.7/5 on Trustpilot from the million (and counting!) lessons delivered so far. Schools use them to support their teaching, and MyTutor currently works with 650+ across the UK, targeting learning gaps and helping teens and primary school students everywhere achieve their goals.
The work
Projects for MyTutor have been widespread, from illustration work to add to their portfolio of brand imagery, to design projects such as business cards, roller banners, annual reports, one and two-pagers, leaflets, referral cards, e-books & brochures, table-tops, event items, clothing, stationary, signage, logos & supportive imagery, adverts, web banners, email signatures, Powerpoint presentations, photography, videos, social media assets and more.

Brand Photography
The brand began to pivot towards the more prominent use of photography. To reinforce the MyTutor brand, I began working with brand shapes, colours and at times small amounts of supporting illustration. Some examples are below.

MyTutor Wrapped
MyTutor Wrapped. Starting in 2024, the Wrapped campaign is an annual opportunity to summarise to schools in a bespoke report the impact they're making in students' lives with online tutoring, and aims to keep the conversation going for the next academic year.
In 2025 Wrapped made it's return with an enhanced focus on measuring the campaign's impact, and included a delighter for hand-picked schools.
Animation and Product Images
As part of the new B2C website, these animations are used as part of the 'How it works' page of the website, and sit side-by-side with explainer text. They're fun demonstrations of collaboration, customisation and the tools that MyTutor's Lesson Space provides to tutors and students alike.
I also built Lesson Space in Adobe Illustrator so that I could create high-quality product images, as well as the basis for these and any future animations we require.

Colour testing and filling in gaps
Whilst at MyTutor I've assessed the colour profiles we use - specifically those for print - and how they shape up when compared to our standard RGB colours that define the brand's visual identity.
Additionally all the brand illustrations, shapes and textures are RGB PNG files, so I've worked on image tracing the brand content so it can be used at larger scale for certain projects, such as larger exhibition stands.

Illustrations
MyTutor's visual identity is in part represented by playful illustration, and whilst there are existing illustrations that can be used, occasionally new ones are needed, such as for the Primary schools campaign circa 2023. Below are a few examples I've made [and animated] since 2022/2023.
Video
I've always enjoyed working with video, and there are often occasions when we've need it for various campaigns.
